What's Happening at the Ireland Summer Games?
- Kicking off on Thursday 18th June, join us at Tallaght Stadium for the Ireland Summer Games Opening Ceremony — a celebration of our athletes! Featuring the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Torch of Hope, this event will ignite 3 unforgettable days of excitement, inclusion, and competition.
- From Friday 19th to Sunday 21st of June over 1200 Athletes from every corner of the island will compete at an all-island level in 12 sports, across 10 venues!
- You can also enjoy inspiring showcases from our Young Athletes and MATP Programmes. The on-site health screening event from our health programme will ensure every athlete has the resources to stay healthy!
- Our final Closing & Awards Ceremony on Sunday 21st will celebrate the amazing skill, and talent of our athletes who gave their all to compete at the Ireland Summer Games 2026
